Depending on your team’s resources, you may want to evaluate the training. If you offer CME credit for participation in the training, keep in mind that most CME accrediting organizations require providers to complete an evaluation of the session.
You could do a process evaluation. You may want to track who attended your training, how much of the training each person attended, how satisfied each participant was with the training, and the cost of delivering each training.
You could also measure the training’s impact on participants by using the post-training survey. You may want to assess changes in their motivation to recommend HPV vaccination and the quality of their recommendations.
Finally, consider evaluating the impact on vaccination. Use your state’s Immunization Information System to calculate each clinic’s vaccination coverage before the training and several months afterward.
